DENZIL OSWALD ROGERS affectionately known as “Hertz” or “Gad” age 62 of Hartland Road, Haynesville, St. James; former Foreman of PEC Construction Company entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

Son of the late Kelvin Rogers and Alfred Small;

Cherished friend of Joyce, Tre, Tristan and Joan Scantlebury;

Brother of  Claudson Rogers(USA), Ishmael, Ronald, Olga, Nell, Errol, Allan, Terry and Vinstone Rogers, Meldine Rogers (Wesley Hall Junior School), Michael, Roger and David Scott, the late Clyton Rogers, Glenroy Scott and Andora Elcock;

Uncle of Maria, Sandra, Julia, Tonia, Kera, Terrell, Kenny, Shaquon and Nyema Rogers, Carla Rollock, Waveney Walters, Kelly Joseph, Sade Walcott, Anna Kirton, Tameisha Jordan, Marisa Scott, Diane Yearwood, Natalie Crichlow, Ashton Clarke, Dezdaleen Jones-Moore, Jason Maynard and others;

Brother-in-law of Odessa Rogers, Veda Husbands and Rhonda Rogers;

Relative of the Scott and Griffin families;

Friend of Rosalind McCollin, Mervin Greaves, Wesley Chandler, Hullia Patterson, Alicia Corbin, and Edmund Parris of PEC Construction.

The funeral of the late Denzil Oswald Rogers leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. for St Luke Anglican Church, Brighton, St George where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2019 no later than 1 p.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Minister Sandra Husbands apologises that she is unable to attend the funeral service this afternoon as she is out of the island on Government Business. She however extends her condolences to the family of the late Denzil Rogers.
