Age 63, of Sandy Hill, St. Philip, formerly of Mansion Road, Bank Hall, St. Michael. Faithful member and Head Stewardess of Abundant Life Assembly; retired Senior Clerk of the Royal Barbados Police Force and former Postal Clerk at the Barbados Post Office entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 17, 2019.

 Daughter of the late Aileen and George Reid;

Beloved mother of Crystal Knight (Teacher at Arthur Smith Primary);

Grandmother of Joshua Forde (Student, Barbados Community College);

Cherished sister of Jeffrey Hutson (retired Transport Board), George Reid (retired, Royal Barbados Police Force Band), Keith Reid (retired, Barbados Postal Service), Hartley Reid (retired, Royal Barbados Police Force), Mark Reid (USA), Winston Reid (Barbados Cricket Association), Kay Reid (Central Bank of Barbados), Richmond Reid (Barbados Port Authority), Anne Millar (Daryll Jordan Secondary), Margaret Dowridge, Cheri Jarvis (Queen Elizabeth Hospital), Shannon Carter (St. Luke’s Brighton) and the late Joyce Ward and Patrick Reid;

Cherished aunt and great-aunt of many;

Mother-in-law of Richard Knight (Freight Handling Services);

Sister-in-law of Onell Hutson, Harry Carter, Beryl, Roslyn, Valerie and Janice Reid;

Relative of the Reid, Haynes, Lashley, Gilkes, Batson, Hutson and Forde families;

Close friend of Rosetta Mayers, Madeline Blenman, Marlene Marshall, Margaret Stuart, Kathy Inniss, and many others.

A Service of praise and thanksgiving for the life of our loved one, Heather Patricia Reid will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Abundant Life Assembly, Haynes Hill, Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. The Funeral will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2019 no later than 7.00 a.m. Mourning colours are optional. 

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
