Masalene Martina Hinds, age 90 of Massachusetts, USA, entered into rest on Friday, November 22, 2024, at her residence.

Daughter of the late Ursula Hinds and Kenneth Brathwaite;

Mother of Radford, David, the late Carl and Jeffrey Hind (USA);

Grandmother of Aisha and the late Erskine Hinds (USA);

Great-grandmother of Kymani Baynes and Kimora Smith (USA);

Sister of Kenneth Hinds (Joyce) (UK), Francena Holder (USA) and the late Minthy Blades;

Aunt of Sherrie Holder-Watts (Noel), Annette Holder, Jackie Holmes, Allison Holder (USA); Lana Toussaint (Robert) (Lenstec) (Barbados), Cheryl Hinds (UK), Karen Hinds (Stephen) (UK), Ronald Blades (Tracey) (Teacher at Queen’s College  (Barbados), Frank Hinds (UK), Alvin Holder Jr. (USA) and the late Robert Hinds (UK);

Cousin of Marjorie Marshall and the late Naomi Alleyne;

Mother-in-Law of the late Beverly Keaton-Hinds;

Relative of the Hinds family of St. Lucy;

Close friend of Yvonne Grimes, Beverly Davis, Margaret Woodman, Sheila Watts, the Byer family, godchildren, and many others.

The funeral leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, December 21, 2024, for Bethel Methodist Church, Bay Street, St. Michael where the relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service; followed by interment at Westbury Cemetery.

The organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, December 21, 2024, no later than 8 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
