SELWYN TYRONE BURROWES known as “Gleason” driver of G620 of Clapham Park, St. Michael and formerly of Workmans, St. George, owner of Burrowes Contruction; Selwyn played Cricket for Benfica, Southern Stars, Pioneer, Mapp Hill, BCL and Hospital entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, 6^th September 2025

Son of the Late Gwendolyn (Nora) and Leslie Bynoe;

Husband of  Wendy Waterman-Burrowes;

Brother of Muriel Barrow, Carl, Anthony, Byron and Edwin Bynoe, the late Gordon Knight  Douglas and Vincent Burrowes;

Uncle of Shawn and Chris Smith, Dwayne Barrow, Sharece Jordan, Tanesha Bryan, Ashley Forde, Wanda Walcott, Dale Ifill, Meghan Moore,  Rebecca Peter;  Jelani and Jacobie Bynoe and many others;

Great-unle of many ;

Adopted uncle of Kenroy Waterman and Kadeem Waterman;

Nephew of Patson Burrowes;

Cousin of Erskine Wickham,  Livi Burrowes, Elene Carter,  Mary Moore, Pauline Waldrond, Clifton Burrowes,  and Merleen Bynoe-Applewhaite;

Brother-in-law of Rosalind Waterman-Sobers;

The funeral of the late Selwyn Tyrone Burrowes leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall St Michael on Monday, September 29, 2025, for St. George Parish Church, Glebe Land, St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service followed by the Interment in the Churchyard..

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend.  Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday, September 29, 2025 no later than 12 noon.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
