Of Rock Hampton Road, Jackson, St. Michael. Former employee of the Barbados Water Authority.
Son of the late Ruby and James Ewart ‘Dan’ King;
Brother of Shirley Blackman and the late Sheila King-Watson;
Father of Neil Carrington (Downes & Wilson Funeral Home), Christopher and Shanna King; David and Shemiele Balgobin née King;
Grandfather of Nadira, Christopher ‘CJ’ Jr, Destiny, David-Anthony, Malik, and 15 others;
Uncle of the late Tara Blackman (Daryll Jordan Secondary School);
Brother-in-law of Professor Emeritus Hilbourne Watson (USA); and the late Walwyn Blackman;
Cherished cousin of Melanie and the late Pauline Stevenson, and many others;
Relative of the Morris, King, Henry, and Birkett families;
Friend of the Downes & Wilson Funeral Home family and many others.
The funeral takes place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Sharon Moravian Church, St. Thomas where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3 p.m. for the service and interment.
The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St Michael on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 4-6 p.m.
