Long standing member of Abundant Life Assembly; participant at the Soroptimist Senior Citizens Village and Activity Center; former Nursing Assistant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Elderly Care Worker in the USA.
Former wife of Adelbert Alleyne;
Mother of Ruth Blackman, former Permanent Secretary, Barbados Public Service; Delbert White (USA), Esther Alleyne, Vernon Alleyne; Dr. Jennifer Obidah, former Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education at the UWI Cave Hill Campus; and Ralph Alleyne.
Grandmother of Angela Williams, Zafere White and Emike Obidah-Alleyne (USA); Shiloh Alleyne and Zensi Alleyne (UK); Olivia Joseph, Malika Sealy-Watson, and Shakira Maynard,
Great-grandmother of five.
Sister of Hugh White (UK), Cuthbert Daniel and Ann Daniel.
Aunt of six.
Relative of the Delaney family, and Majorie Jackman and family.
Mother-in-law of Natalya White (USA), David Blackman, Kay Alleyne and Renee Alleyne.

The funeral for Norma Cynthia Alleyne née White leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, November 7, 2025 for the Abundant Life Assembly, Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for a Service of Thanksgiving at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at the Westbury Cemetery.
Tributes will commence from 12:30 p. m.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2025 no later than 11 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
