Loving mother of Anthony Gibson (former Island Constable with the Royal Police Service and former Security officer with Mount Gay Distilleries) and Carroll Gibson (retired teacher of The St. Michael School);
Adoptive grandmother of Jabarry Welch (Part-time employee of the NCF);
Mother-in-law of Grace Norville-Gibson (Senior Teacher (ag.) at The St. Michael School);
Adoptive aunt of Sharron Lucas-Blackman;
Close friend of the Norville and Grannum families;
Dear friend of Jewel Greenidge, Gloria Sealy, Sheila Pilgrim-Roach, Ulric and Avanie Scantlebury (USA), Olive Gerot (The Netherlands), Marva Holford and Sandra Williams.
A service of praise and thanksgiving for the life of Christina Salome Gibson will take place on Thursday, 13th August 2026 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Bridgetown, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. with the interment immediately following in the church yard.
The organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, 13th August 2026 no later than 7:30 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, 12th August 2026 from 4-6 p.m.
