Of Wellington, Florida, formerly of Les Coteaux, Tobago.
Retired from a long career in nursing home aid and health care. Faithful servant of God; he was devoted to his family and community.
Son of the late Marcus Yorrick and Keturah Cudjoe.
He was predeceased by his beloved sisters, Audrey and Synthia, who now rest with him and their parents.
Husband of Gloria Yorrick (née Gaskin).
Father of David Yorrick and Philip Yorrick.
Stepfather of the late Tony Gaskin.
Grandfather of Tristan, Cameron, Julice, Christopher, David, Cristal, Tiffany and Meagan.
Great-grandfather of Malani, Troi, Mateo, and Rowen.
Uncle of Joy, Mahalia, and Michael.
Relative of the Yorrick, Cudjoe, Gaskin, Durant and Campbell families.
Friend of Eleanor Waithe, Winston & Erma Murrel, Megan Batson, Yvonne Brathwaite; and many others who will remember his warmth, wit, and wisdom.
A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Arthur Carrington Yorrick takes place at Bethel Methodist Church, Bay Street, St. Michael on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at St. George Parish Churchyard, The Glebe, St. George.
The organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25, 2025, no later than 7 a.m.
