August 31, 2025 at 2:15 pm“My sweet sister Hazel is with the Lord. She was smart, kind, humorous, and unselfish. She was a leader at her place of teaching and also at home with her family. Growing up, I could always take my QC and UWI friends to the Broomes home for counsel, encouragement, and fun. Hazel embraced my husband Renea and my children Kara and Andrew. Everytime we visited from the US, we would visit and have long meaningful, inspiring, and hilarious conversations. Hazel loved her husband Samuel and their sons, Brian, Paul, Greg, Dr. Deisha and their families deeply. She loved the Lord and I will see her again.”
