Member of the Executive Committee of the Barbados Mothers’ Union; Barbados Anglican Cursillo; Barbados Union of Teachers, and proud alumna of The St. Michael Girl School.
Predeceased by parents Meta Sealy and John Bruce.
Devoted mother of Janelle Bruce (Lester Vaughan School) and Simone Edwards (National Financial Literacy Programme).
Loving grandmother of Jaylan Forde, Ade Maynard, and Jaina Smith.
Sister of Joel Ellis, Joycelyn, Veronica and Verona Michael, and Rudolph Barrow.
Aunt of Nicholas Gill, Megghan and Tricia Michael, Jade King, and the late Joyy Ellis.
Cousin of Vilmore Johnson, Michael Alleyne, Wilfred, Ronald and Sheldon Bruce, David Elcock, Muriel Sealy, and the late Yvonne Johnson.
Godmother of Shakira, Sasha, Shernelle, and others.

The funeral leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 for St Cyprians Anglican Church, corner 7th Avenue Belleville and George Street, St Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2 p.m. for the service.
The funeral will then proceed to St George Parish Churchyard for the interment.
The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 no later than noon.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
