SYBIL ELAINE MANNING age 98 of Kensington New Road St. Michael, retired Laboratory Assistant of Carlisle Laboratories and Oldest member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, 08th July 2026 at her residence.
Daughter of the late Doris Daniel and Colin Manning;
Devoted mother of Trevor Manning (of Wales), Mildred Manning Hinkson (USA), and the late Gregory O’Dayne Manning;
Beloved mother-in-law of Compton Hinkson (USA);
Loving grandmother of Claire Manning-Bull (UK), Sean and Andrew Hinkson (USA);
Great-grandmother of Finley, Ashton and Alicia Macleod;
Sister of the late Yusuf Abdul Raheem formerly Carlisle Daniel (Canada);
Sister-in-Law of Hamidah Abdul Raheem formerly Arlene Daniel (CAN);
Aunt of Atiba Daniel, Sabreen, Saleemah, Shahida, Moeen, Mustafa, Ilyas and Sazjdah Abdul Raheem (CAN);
Cousin of Peggy Greaves and others;
Relative of the Manning family;

The funeral of the late SYBIL ELAINE MANNING leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday, 20th July 2026 at 12:30 p.m. for St. Mary Anglican Church, Bridgetown, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment in the Churchyard.
The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 20th July 2026.
