Airlene Kirton November 20, 2020

AIRLENE ANITA KIRTON nèe BENJAMIN MJF aged 79 of Wanstead Terrace, Cave Hill, St. Michael; member of the Lions Club of St. Michael, Ancient Order of Foresters, St. Stephen’s Church and GFF Dance Group entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, 3rd November, 2020 at her residence.

 Beloved mother of Anne-Marie Prescod;

Mother-in-Law of Andrew Prescod;

Loving grandmother of Aaron and Asher Prescod;

Aunt of Monique Agyare, Donna Maynard and Diahan Bradshaw

Cousin of Marcia and Muriel Oxley, Elaine, Pat and Juliette Benjamin, Armena Clark, Oswald Roach, David Griffith, Ronald Hewitt and Audrey Cox;

Relative of the Benjamin, Hunte, Hewitt and Roach Families;

Friend of Undine and Bruce Bradshaw, Ilene Tull, Grace Brown, Grace Watson, Ermine Watson, Brenda Nurse and Andrea Phillips;

A Service of Praise and Thanksgiving to celebrate the Life and Works of AIRLENE ANITA KIRTON will be held on Saturday, 21st November, 2020 at St. Stephens Anglican Church, Black Rock Main Road, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am. The funeral will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment.

The Organist is kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lions Club of St. Michael to assist families in need.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, on Friday 20th November, 2020 from 4-6 p.m.

    Dear Anne-Marie, Andrew and Family,

    My deepest condolence to you all on the passing of Airlene.

    She was like a mother to me when we worked together at the U.S. Embassy. Those were happy times in our lives as we worked on several projects here and through the Eastern Caribbean.

    She touched my life in so many ways.
