Father of Sharon Straker (Montreal, Canada);
Brother of Barbara Johnson, Marcia Pilgrim and Monica Hazel (all of Toronto, Canada), Ivan Straker, Cecily Roberts, Tyrone Straker, Wendy Straker and the late Shirley Trotman;
Uncle of Kendra Roberts and many others;
Nephew of Elma Straker;
Friend of the Church of the Nazarene, Bank Hall Church Family and the Global Missions Inc., Spooner’s Hill, St. Michael Church Family.
The Thanksgiving Service for the Life of Anthony Winston Straker will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, Bank Hall, St Michael on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 9 a.m. The funeral will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael, on Saturday, May 22, 2021 no later than 7 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. All Covid-19 protocols must be acknowledged.

I remember also qhen J used to come by your home after netball or atheletics at the stadium and spent time with you after and dad and mom used to treat me as though I was one of their own. Dad would always have some joke to make when we were playing together and you would always make fun of him when he never used to get my name called right. Delsie is what he always used to call me and tou would always try to correct him.lol Even after when we had finished school and you came back to Barbados and I visited you before you went back and I remembered you saying to hidad do u remember her and he was how u mean if I remember her and you went like tell.me who she is and he said that’s the girl from black rock delsie a d we started to laugh because you was like dad her name is Velsie and he was she know and I mean and we started to laugh and joked about it and he said ahe think I can’t remember you lol. He was truly a wonderful person and we will all miss him but those memories will always be with you sharon. So even though it’s going to be hard be strong my friend.
