Employee of Bryden Stokes Ltd; Director of the Barbados Trust Fund Ltd. and Sanitation Service Authority.

Founding member and Treasurer of the Togetherness Social Group; Member of the Barbados Labour Party.

 

Son of the late Charles Parris and Marjorie Downes- Parris;

Loving Brother of Beverly Smith, Geoffrey Downes, Senator Patricia Parris, CEO of the Barbados Labour Party and Glyne Parris of GEED;

Beloved Nephew of Gwendolin Lee (Boston) and Doris Holder;

The funeral of the late Charles Asquith Ferdinand Parris leaves Downes & Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, October 4, 2025, for the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Jemmotts Lane, Bridgetown, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00 am for a Thanksgiving Service.

Tributes will commence at 9.00 am

The funeral will then proceed to the St. Matthew’s Churchyard, Jackmans, St. Michael for the interment.

Additional Parking for Burial will be provided at Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church, Shuttle service will be provided to St Matthew’s Church.

No flowers by special request.  In Charles’ memory, a monetary contribution is kindly appreciated at the viewing and during the service for the work of the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Jackmans, St. Michael on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4.00 – 6.00 pm.
