DELCINA NEILA RAMSEY aged 95 affectionately called “Nicey” a Matriarch of Goddard’s Road, St. Stephen’s Hill, St. Michael entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, 09th July, 2023.

Wife of the late Beresford St. Clair Sonny Ramsey
Mother of Ingrid Ramsey, J.P. (National Housing Corporation) and St. Clair Ramsey (New York);
Grandmother of Dwayne and Delkcina (USA) and Anne-Marie (Student at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus);
Great grandmother of 3;
Sister of Daniel Codrington;
Aunt of Brenda and Anthony (USA), Lisa, Darwin and Bruce;
Great aunt of Derick and Christopher (USA), and many others;
God mother of Rudolph Thompson (USA), and many more;
Sister in law of Owen Codrington;
Relative of Wilma Greaves and the Bruce family of (Shop Hill, St. Thomas), the Cadogan, Ramsey, Thompson and Codrington families;
Friend of Barbara Holder, Jacqueline Alleyne, the Goddard’s Road Community, the St. Stephens’s Church family, the late Ione Thompson and many others.
The funeral of the late Delcina Neila Ramsey leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, 12th August, 2023 at 8.30 a.m. for St. Stephen Anglican Church, Black Rock Main Road, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00 a.m. for the service and the interment.
The Organist, members of the Church Choir, Mothers Union, Church Army and the St. Stephen’s Credit Union are kindly asked to attend.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 8:00 a.m. on Saturday 12th August, 2023.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, 11th August, 2023 from 4—6 p.m.
