Aged 72 of Hilltop, Princess Royal Avenue, St. Michael; formerly of Flagstaff, St. Michael and Brooklyn, NY entered peacefully into rest on Monday, June 20, 2022.

Daughter of the late Elsie Grandison;

Wife of Dennis Rouse;

Mother of Leroy Grandison and Shawn Rouse;

Grandmother of Barry and Jennet Ward;

Sister of Theo Grandison (USA), Mildred Forde and the late David Grandison;

Aunt of Bradley Weekes, Tony Ward, Carolann, Zaleta, Lorraine, Delcina, Sheila, Omar, Tyron, DJ Rodney Fresh, Arthur and Roderick Forde;

Cousin of Malcolm Best (Ex Police Association, USA), Lavita Yarde and many others;

Sister-in-Law of Lorraine Forde and Patsy Ramsey;

Relative of the Gilkes, Griffith and Bowen families;

Friend of Geoffrey Thorne (Ex Police Association, USA), Donna Hunte-Cox and Lennox Price (former Consuls General of Barbados), Mackie Holder (Consul General of Barbados to New York); Barbara Lovell & Crew, Greta Carrington, Michelle Ward, Alva Stuart, Linda Watson Lorde and Sue Barrow (all of the USA).

The funeral of the late Elaine Dolores Grandison Rouse leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St Michael on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 for the Church of the Nazarene, Collymore Rock, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:30 p.m. for the service. Interment at the Westbury Cemetery will follow.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St Michael on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 no later than 11 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at the Church of the Nazarene, Collymore Rock, St. Michael on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. where some of her exceptional outfits will be exhibited.
