Remembering this great woman. Love is not limited by time or presence, not lost or found, not manufactured or invented. Love is. Love exists before us and after us. We get to embrace it and to share it. And none of us embrace and share the same as another ss we live. Thank you Auntie Dorcas for the love you continue to be in my life as your presence and voice in my life continues with me and my family. God lift up your soul in rejoicing and bless us always with your love.

I knew her as Auntie Dorcas from the time I knew myself. As youngsters my brother (Adrian) sister (Jennifer) and my mother (Marion) spent many a Saturday and evenings after school rummaging through colorful piles of fabric cuttings on the floor of her work room and hiding in the dense gardens outside the house in Worthing View. I can recall hearing Dorcas and mummy talking and laughing for hours on end while fitting a dress or altering work uniforms.
My visits home were never complete until we had dropped in on Auntie Dorcas. She always had some sage advice to give and funny anecdotes to tell. She and my mother were dear friends right up till the end. We loved Auntie Dorcas and Uncle George (the quiet man).
She is with the Lord now and we, who believe, will surely see her again. I wish to convey my deepest sympathies to my old friend Ornan, all the remaining family and the numerous friends Dorcas gathered along the way who will miss her as I do.

    Blessings

I knew her as Auntie Dorcas from the time I knew myself and I spent many evenings after school as a boy watching her pin fabric all over my mother as she spun her around and around while they chatted and laughed endlessly. My brother (Adrian) and I also played in her gardens which were like another world to us and I marveled at how she could magically make anything grow. Over the years my visits home could never be complete unless we dropped in on Auntie Dorcas for a few hours at the very least. She always had some sage advice to give and jokes to tell.
Dorcas and my mother (Marion) were very, very good friends right up to the end of her days and I know she misses her buddy. I wish to convey my deepest sympathies to my old friend Ornan and to all the family and friends who will lovingly remember and dearly miss Auntie Dorcas, for she is with the Lord now.

Auntie Dorcas and Uncle George, that is who they were to me since my childhood until now, as I went in and out of their home. She was my Mom’s (Marion Clarke) dressmaker. So many memories. She became a dear friend to my Mom, my siblings and I. I always visited her when I came home, the last time being December 2018. We had a fun visit as usual filled with laughter. Auntie Dorcas was very lively and I always enjoyed her company. I will miss her dry wit, her smile, and that mischievous twinkle in her eye. Gone, but never, ever forgotten. My deepest sympathy to Ornan, and all of the family.

Auntie Dorcas and Uncle George, that is who they were to me since my childhood. I have fond memories, too numerous to mention, as I went in and out of their home from then until now. She was my Mom’s (Marion Clarke) dressmakers and she became a dear friend to my Mon, my siblings, and I. I always visited her when I came home, the last time being December 2018. Then as always, she was her feisty, witty, upbeat self. I always enjoyed her company. Auntie Dorcas was lively. I will miss her smile and that mischievous twinkle in her eyes. My deepest sympathy to Ornan and the family.. You are in my prayers. She is gone but never, ever forgotten.

Condolences to the family of Ms. Millington. I met her through her dear friend Barbara Blackman, now deceased, late of St. Davids, Christ Church. Barbara thought so highly of Ms. Millington and through their friendship I was given the opportunity to interact with this lady who lived the life of a godly woman.
She made her contribution to the kingdom and pray that she will rest in peace and rise in glory

My condolences to Ornan and other family members of Mrs. Millington. She was my godmother, and she and my mum Eileen were very good friends. I have fond memories of visiting her when I was growing up and of my last visit two years ago. Most of all I remember her joyous laugh. Rest in peace.
