Daughter of the late Thomas and Amy-Maud Hylton of Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica;

Wife of Christopher Jackman;

Beloved mother of Kevin Jackman and Fiona Jackman-Ward;

Treasured grandmother of Camryn Jackman, Matthew and Gabrielle Ward;

Sister of the late George, Joseph, Godfrey, and Ransford “Chappie” Hylton, May Whittaker, Lucille Byfield, Joyce Gibson, Vera Ennis, and Thelma Murray;

Aunt of Francois & Gloria Jackman, Jo-Ann Roett, Beverly Mohamed, Edward Gibson, Carol McNichol & Angela Pryce(USA); Vincent “Jack” Gibson, Audrey & Andrew Hylton (UK); Barbara Hylton, Ian Murray, Philip & Danny Whittaker, (Jamaica), Sylvia Pusey (Canada), and many others in Jamaica, the UK, and the USA;

Mother-in-Law of Lucette James (Antigua) and Wendell Ward (USA);

The funeral for Dorris Jackman leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, May 4, 2024 for St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Black Rock, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 p.m. for the service; followed by the interment in the churchyard.

The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4, 2024 no later than 1 p.m.
