Beloved son of Omega Blackman and the late Otho Blackman (Owner of Blackman’s Floor Sanding & Tiling/Finetec Finishes Inc.);

Brother of Annette Francis and Richelle Blackman Mapp;

Father of Sasha, McKayla and Darian Blackman;

Uncle of Keneisha Robinson and Aniya Francis;

Brother-in-law of Denzil Mapp;

Godson of Lionel Weekes;

Nephew of Inez Maduro, Oswald Smith, Enid and Christopher Gunn;

Cousin of Lorna Wilkinson, Monica and Bert Pinder, Larry Gunn, Eddie Smith, Barbara, Lena and Omawale Weekes and many others;

“Adopted” Son and Brother of the Leigertwood, Grant and Roach families;

Ex-husband of Jennifer Doughty Corbin;

Friend of Christine Bovelle, Cathy-Ann Oxley, Andrea Nicholls and many others.

The funeral of the late Dwight DaCosta Blackman leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 8 a.m. for Messiah Wesleyan Holiness Worship Center, “Messiah’s House”, Massiah Street, St John where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9:30 a.m. for the service. The funeral will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for interment. No mourning colours by special request.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 no later than 7 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
