EILEEN MABEL GILL, aged 79 of 1st Avenue 21 Friendship Terrace, St. Michael and formerly of Pool Land, St. John; retired Agent of British American Insurance Co. Ltd., entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, 29 April 2026 at her residence.
Devoted wife of the late Samuel Gill;
Loving mother of Carey Gill, Ingrid Birch and Joylyn Gill;
Beloved grandmother of Kiara, Zayn, Isaiah and Racquel;
Sister of Norma Dottin (Martins Bay, St. John), Ermine, David and Desmond McCollin;
Aunt of Wendell Dottin (Bermuda), Vandun (Pastor), Roger, Shawn and Sonia;
Great-aunt of Connie Dottin (Republic Bank), Anne Marie and Tamika Bellamy, Shelley Ann Hope, Markita and Josiah;
Cousin of Michelle Green, Tyrone Mason and DaCosta Mason;
Dearest sister-in-law of Cecil Gill and Erlinda Waithe (USA);
Mother-in-law of Demitrius Birch, Tony and Tanash Gill;
Relative of the McCollin, Mason, Dottin and Clarke families;
Close friend to Albertine (Tina), Sandra Brereton, Leila Belgrave USA,, Sean Jordan, Shawn Harding, and many others.
The funeral of the late Eileen Mabel Gill leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, 09th June 2026 at 8:30 a.m. for Mount of Praise Wesleyan Holiness Church, Tudor Bridge, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The funeral will then proceed to St. John Cemetery, Glebe Land, St. John for the interment.
The Organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, 09th June 2026 no later than 7:30 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael, on Monday, 8th June 2026, from 4:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.
