EMMERSON LIONEL HINDS, “Emmy”, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was born on October 28, 1957 to Audrey and Lionel Hinds. He grew up in Bank Hall and attended Wesley Hall Primary and St Leonard’s Secondary Boys’ Schools. He worked most of his life as a professional tailor and made both men and women’s clothing. Emmerson passed away quietly on Tuesday, 9th June 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Lionel Hinds and siblings Heather and Shernel Hinds.
Survived by his daughter Petra Haynes; granddaughter Amoura; Siblings Maureen, Beverley, Sonia and Wendy and his many friends.
The funeral of the late Emmerson Lionel Hinds leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, 16th June, 2020 for Westbury Cemetery, where the relatives and family will meet at 3:00 p.m. for the service followed by the interment.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael, on Tuesday, 16th June, 2020 no later than 12:00 noon
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home today Monday, 15th June, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
