GEORGE BARNES aged 64 affectionately called “Woggy” of Gall Hill, St. John and formerly of Bath Land, St. John entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, November 17, 2019.
Son of the late Gwendolyn “Molly” Gooding;
Nephew of Joseph Barnes, Colin Codrington, the late George Barnes, the late Ena Straker and the late Carnetta Thornhill;
Cousin of Sophia Calixte(USA), Tracy Gittens, Michael and Emerson Barnes, Kerlene Thornhill, Ralph Blackett and Julia Feaster;
Relative of the Barnes and Risbrook families;
Friend of Carl Cox and many others.
The funeral of the late GEORGE BARNES leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 1:15 p.m. for St. John Parish Church, Glebe Land, St. John where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3 p.m. for the service; the funeral will then proceed to the St. John Cemetery for the interment.
The Organist and Choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to the Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 no later than 12:00 noon.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4-6 p.m.
