My condolences to the family of my cousin, Gwendolyn; and, all the extended Blackman-Kellman families. Her Grandmother, Ada, and my Grandmother, Mary Jane Blackman (Kellman) Hinds were sisters. What a wonderful eulogy, it made me feel like I knew her; and, the memories about the larder and smoking licks, brought me back to childhood memories, that were so similar, even though we were in Cave Hill, St. Lucy; and, Y’all were in Shop Hill, St. Thomas. ~ Althea Hinds-Catlett, daughter of the late Adelle Hinds, in Virginia, USA~28Feb2023.
