Ira Hilda Greenidge aged 92 of 1^st Avenue Jones Land, Deacons Road, St. Michael died peacefully on October 15, 2023.

Predeceased by her husband Laughton Greenidge;

Sister of Laurna Beckles & David Clarke (USA), Hammie Davis of the UK & Curtis Clarke;

Aunt of David Jr, Natasha, Daniel & Joanna Beckles (USA), Andrew & Shirin Clarke;

Godmother of Eleanor & James Morgan, Jacqueline Lascelles, Shawn Moore and Cheryl Boyce;

Sister-in-law of David Beckles Sr and Marjorie Clarke (USA), Joyce McGeary, Myriel Harewood, Glenville Gill, Oliver and the late Eleanor, Harcourt & Majorie Greenidge;

Relative of Rudy Cummings, Sir Cuthbert Gordon Greenidge & family, the Davis & Lavine families (Black Bess, St. Peter & Mount Standfast, St. James);

Special friend of Harriet Hewitt, Marva Forde, Yvonne Campbell, Marquita Phillips, Edward Cadogan, Merle & Monique Johnson, the Richards, Chandler, Applewhaite & Franklyn families; the Pastor & members of White Park Wesleyan Holiness Church; the management & staff of Rosedale Senior Citizens Home and the late Daisy Haynes.

The funeral for Ira Hilda Greenidge takes place on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Whitepark Wesleyan Holiness Church, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2 p.m.

Tributes will commence at 1:30 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.

The organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 no later than 11 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
