KENNETH ALPHONSO HARVEY

Retired Chemical Engineer of Newcastle, St. John, entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Former Head Boy, Cadet Sargeant Major and Scout Master of Combermere School and Management Coordinator of CTCS Network at the Caribbean Development Bank.

 Son of the late Frederick Harvey and Edith Harvey;

Husband of Dorothy Harvey née Cummins;

Father of Dr. Lisa Harvey, Allan Harvey, and Kay Harvey (Canada);

Brother of Professor Harold Harvey, MD (USA), Eleanor Hackett, Dr. Joan Harvey, and Dr. Winston Harvey;

Father-in-law of Dr. Kimberly Johnny and Glenfield Greaves;

Grandfather of Lia-Marie, Enjolie and Mario Greaves, Ian and Ava Harvey;

Brother-in-law of The Hon. Dr. Christopher Hackett, Ena Harvey, Stephen St. Hill, Ken Cummins, Basil Cummins; the late Mary Harvey and John St. Hill;

Uncle of Dr. William Harvey, Allison Mason, John Harvey, Jacqueline Innocent, Ali Ellis, David & Adrian Hackett (all of the USA); Dr. Arianne Harvey and Dr. Ramon Harvey;

Great-uncle of 11;

Cousin of Janet Gittens, Trevor, Jennifer and Andy Field;

Nephew of Archie and Veronica Ishmael (USA).

The funeral of the late Kenneth Alphonso Harvey leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, June 2, 2023 for the Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, the Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service and interment.

The organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 7 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
