Son of the late Lilian Codrington and Courtney Rouse;

Dear brother of Loraine, Doriel, Anthony, the late Jean and Hugh Codrington

Brother-in-law of Carol Codrington;

Uncle of Janice Hinds, Abena Williams, Cecile, Lemar, Jacqueline and Pauline Codrington (both of Canada);

Great-uncle of Shakeena Codrington, Delisa Boyce and Raine Brathwaite;

Cousin of Clotelle Holder and family of Lower Parks Road, St. Joseph;

Relative of the Codrington, Agard, Bradshaw and Hazzard families;

Cherished friend of Susan Pilgrim & family, Susan Sookoo & family, Dr. Kendi Griffith, Davie Mason (Canada), Mala & Sheldon Alleyne, Terrence Mitchell and Winston Griffith;

Friend of the nurses, doctors, staff and students of the Eye Theatre and Eye Clinic Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital; other colleagues, staff and patients (QEH); Thyrone Walker, Curtis Nurse, Clarence Applewhite, Oral Corbin and many others.

 

The funeral leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, July 11, 2025 for St George Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service; followed by the interment in the churchyard.

 

The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 1 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025.

 

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Condolences to his family, from his Friend Leon Callender aka Callie or Callender .
    Corgie was amazing man and wonderful man. Who I had work with show him around when he came to QEH as an orderly just like me. When I retired, Corgie was still there and would always help when I came, I would ask him you ain’t planning to go home you should have retired already,he said man.. I like working, home will be boring.
