of Valley Development, St. George. Entered peacefully into rest at the age of 95 years on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Daughter of the late Constance Rock and Stanley Greene;

Widow of Christopher “Freddie” Gittens;

Devoted mother of Elaine, Trevor, Denzil, Hazel and Christopher Jr. Gittens; Arlene Bushell, Marcelle Harris, Joyce Archer and the late Ricardo Gittens Snr.;

Loving grandmother of Chantal Rock, Adrian Gittens, Dr. Sasha Gittens, Ryan Herbert and the late Ricardo Gittens Jr.;

Great-grandmother of Jayda Jeffers, Rihnyla Smith, Aidan Herbert and Summer Rock;

Sister of the late Clementina Lindo, DaCosta Forde and Annesta Bushelle;

Mother-in-Law of Peggy Gittens, LeRoy Harris, Basil Archer and John Bushell;

Aunt of Eudene Roach, Eulene Brathwaite, Marilyn Blackman, Robert Bushelle, Ann Holder and many others;

Great aunt of Nadia Bushelle, Kellyann Tull  and Hazel Walker (USA), Damien and Denny Brathwaite,  Tennyson Roach, Mark Greenidge, and many others;

Relative of the Forde, Bushell, Roach, Brathwaite, Holder, Young and Greenidge families;

Special friend of Lindwall Price, Muriel Clarke, Joycelyn Parris, Harold Cox, members of the St. George Parish Church Mother’s Union and Church Army, the late Lillian Gittens, and many others.

A Thanksgiving Service celebrating the life of Leotta Gittens will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at St. George Parish Church, the Glebe, St. George, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m.

Interment in the churchyard will follow.

The Organist, members of the Choir, Church Army and Mothers Union are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21, 2023 no later than 7 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
