Marie Ilene Greenidge née Burgess of Dash Road and Corner of 2nd Avenue Bank Hall, St. Michael entered peacefully into rest at the beautiful age of 87 years on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Adoptive mother of Marcia Harding;
Caring granny of Shanaye Harding and Jachera Briggs;
Sister of Lorna Shirley Phillips, Lionel Burgess, Anne Batson, and the late Arthur Burgess and Pearl Seales;
Sister-in-law of Verona Burgess, Marjorie and Oliver Greenidge (Olga), Joyce McGeary (Ernest), Myriel Heywood (Ivan), Glenville Gill, and the late Eleanor Jones, Glyne and Laughton Greenidge and Harold Seales;
Adoring aunt of Cheryl and Marlyne Burgess, Rodney Phillips, Annette and Robert Seales and eleven others;
Cousin of Yvonne Wood, Marilyn St. Hill-Walker, Harriett Cheltenham and many more, too numerous to mention;

The funeral of the late Marie Ilene Greenidge née Burgess leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, October 2, 2021 for the Bethel Methodist Church, Bay Street, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service. The funeral will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.
