Aged 79 of Locust Hall, St. George and formerly of Grass Street, Mon Repos, St. Lucia.  Taxi Operator of Z1598 and retired Security Supervisor of The Transport Board.

Dearest son of the late Rawlins and Theodora Monrose;

Devoted father of Edward Verneuil, Margaret Martelly, Joy Mayers and Delores Bellamy (Barbados); Josaphat Peter, Beverly Richardson Peter and Eva (St. Lucia); Basil & Kevin Jessamy (St. Vincent); Caroline Jessamy-Gibbs (UK) and the late Rodney Jessamy (Barbados);

Beloved companion of Sylvia Nicholls;

Cherished grandfather of Abigail, Clifton (Jnr), Jessica, Serena, Ayisha, Azil, Azia, Kemar, Kazil, Kiara, Joshua, Jessica, Shanica, Johannah, Jennie, Josiah and Zane;

Great grandfather of Je’Cal, T’niya and Tyrel;

Adored brother of Madlene Stephen, Lovesca Martelly (Sister Patsy), Cecilia Charmont, Martin Monrose, Ralph and Henry Smith; and the late Annette James, Stanisclas Monrose, Elue Monrose, Vitus Monrose and Winsbert Monrose;

The funeral of the late Michael Smith leaves Downes & Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022 for Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the graveside service and the interment. Tributes will commence at 9:45 a.m.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes & Wilson Funeral Home, on Monday, June 13, 2022, no later than 7 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes & Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
