Aged 72 of Upper Wavell Avenue, Black Rock, St. Michael; retired Sales Associate of Duty Free Caribbean entered peacefully into rest on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Daughter of the late Pearlie Sylvester King;

Beloved mother of Pamela King (Stantec), Sherry King (Scotiabank) and Shawn Brathwaite (Canada);

Loving grandmother of Dane Clarke; Tranell Graham (Cayman), Shaquille King, Justine & Gianna Brathwaite-Smith, Noa & Israel Brathwaite (all of Canada) and Tishanna King;

Great-grandmother of Tianna & Tyrese Williams-Clarke, Taj Banfield, Ermias and Sharif King (Canada);

Sister of Michael King (retired employee of the UWI), Marcelle King (USA) and the late Joan Greene;

Aunt of Grace Nicholas (UK), Ruth King (Brandford Taitt Polyclinic), Joyann King (USA), Elizabeth King-Yearwood and Rohan King (Master Chief – USA Navy);

Great-aunt of Simon, Dean and Lena Nicholas (all of the UK); Shyhem, Nykia, Jenecka, Robert and Gabrielle King, Nyby’ous Briggs, Taylor Timmons (all of the USA); Joshua and Arielle Brathwaite;

 The funeral of the late Monica Delores King leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, December 9, 2021 for The St. Leonard’s Anglican Church, Westbury Road, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service; followed by the interment in the Churchyard. No mourning colours by special request. 

The Organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 9, 2021 no later than 8 a.m.
