PHYLIS ERSULA HALL nee HAYNES age 76, of King’s Village Holder’s Hill, St. James, retired Clerical Officer of the Challenor Creative Arts and Training Centre entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

 

Daughter of the late Beresford and Naomi Haynes;

Loving wife of the late Clairmonte Leo Hall;

Sister of Ronald Benskin, Vesta Haynes, Sandra Haynes-Jordon and the late Renwick Haynes,;

Loving aunt of William Benskin (UK), Wayne Benskin, Ryan and Simone Jordan, Karen Ward, Barry and Keita Haynes;

Great-aunt of Kwamina, Kwame and Kajani Benskin (UK), Kadeem, Safara, Rakeem, Tishani, Razariah, Samaya, Jaydon and Rie.

Sister-in-law of Marion Haynes, Shafer Jordan and the late Angela Benskin;

Cousin of many;

Relative of the Haynes, Hall, Scott, Gibson, Benskin, Chapman and Harper families.

The funeral of the late Phylis Ersula Hall leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, 2025, for St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Thorpes, St. James where the relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service; followed by interment at the St. James Cemetery.

The organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, 2025, no later than 8am.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
