Age 91, of King’s Nursing Home, Newton and formerly of St. Matthias Road, Hastings, Christ Church. Chief Server of St. Mary’s Church.

Son of the late George and Winifred Harris;

Beloved husband of Joyce Harris née Green;

Father of Elmo Green Andrew Harris, Magdalene Gonsalves and Dr. Sangye Anderson;

Grandfather of Jamal, Sadio, Mario and Stacy Harris, Shama and Aaron Harding,  Maria and Nadia Gonsalves, Lanello Green, Antoinette Greaves Rosalind Shallow, Amiko and Ashera Anderson;

Great grandfather of 14;

Uncle of George Layne Alicia Campbell Rosalind Ally Montex Lois and Richard Pinder Judy Grimes Stephen Harris and many others;

Father-in-Law of Daphne Greene, Maureen Harris and Carl Gonsalves;

Brother-in- Law of Cynthia Nicholls;

Relative of the Pinder, Wilson, Mc Conney, Miller families, Yvette Harding, Duke Mills and family (Canada).

A Service of Thanksgiving for the late Reuben Martin Harris takes place on Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Bridgetown, St Michael at 10 a.m. Interment in the Churchyard will follow.

The Organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes & Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday, October 5, 2020 no later than 7 a.m.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes & Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Mourners are reminded that masks must be worn and all physical distancing protocols must be adhered to.

    Our sincerest condolences to the Harris family from the Cumberbatch family of St. Matthias. May Mr. Harris rest in peace. Unfortunately Clyde and myself (Marcelle) will not be able to attend the funeral.
