RUDOLPH (RUDY) BOYCE
Aged 85 of Woodbourne, St. Philip entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, 29th June, 2024.
Renowned for his distinctive baritone voice and dynamic stage presence, Rudy enthralled audiences at all popular venues, performing many well-loved songs including ‘Red Red Wine’, and ‘Pretty Flamingo’ with the Fantastics, Lloyd and James Wilson, Harold Lashley, Fern Trail and the late Ronnie Cumberbatch.
Son of the late Cecil Boyce (St. Lucy, Barbados) and Octavia Webb (Trinidad &Tobago);
Husband of Dorin Boyce;
Brother to Jenny Overy (UK), Joy, Henry, Ilsen and Donald Weekes (T&T), Pat, Gail, and Henrietta Weekes (USA);
Brother in law to Jan & Bill Reeves;
Relative of Casper Springer and family;
Friend to Dr. The Most Honourable Anthony Gabby Carter, Hallam Nicholls, Mark Niles, Carlton Proute, Grace & Keith Ifill, Debbie Funk, Stuart Paton, Elodie Chandler (USA), Per & Sara Dibber (Thailand), Peter, Kelsey White and Sandra Bramell (UK) and many others in the UK, Canada, USA and Germany.
The funeral of the late Rudolph (Rudy) Boyce leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, 23rd July, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. for The Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11:00 a.m. for the service immediately followed by the cremation.
Tributes will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Red is the preferred colour.
In lieu of flowers donations to The Ark Animal Welfare Society would be greatly appreciated.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, 22nd July, 2024 from 4 – 6 pm.
