Loving daughter of Frederick and Sheila ‘Joyce’ Haynes;
Beloved mother of Antony Haynes, Aston Vaz, Kamaal & Quamina Whitmore and Karim Dawelbait;
Grandmother of 12;
Sister of Andrea ‘Ann’ Mayers (UK), Monica Haynes-Sisay ‘Avishay Sisay’ (USA) and the late Frederick ‘Junie’ Haynes, Jr.;
Aunt of Kevin & Maxine Mayers (UK), Shiwan Haynes, Jamaal & Farah Wiggan (USA);
Niece of Gwendolyn ‘Neta’ Haynes (USA) and Claudine Welch (UK);
Relative and friend of many in Barbados, the UK, USA and Africa.
The funeral of the late Selma Marcia Haynes leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 for the Westbury Cemetery, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the non-denominational service, followed by the interment.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 no later than 8 a.m.
There will be no viewing.
