Stephen Alonzo Piggott aged 87 of Upper Mount Standfast, St. James, formerly of Martindales Road and Clevedale Road, St. Michael; retired Seaman of Harrison Line and Booth Line and Porter of Barbados Port Inc (Barbados Cruise Terminal Inc).

Son of the late Isla Lynch and Edgar Jordan;

Beloved husband of Frances Piggott;

Devoted father of Francis Joseph (NCF), Andrew Joseph (Unicomer Barbados Limited), Jennifer Cornibert (Ministry of Health), Stephen Joseph (Cobblers Cove) and Christopher Piggott;

Grandfather of Daniel Cornibert, Taneisha and Tonia Mason, Shakira Hunte and Rajan Phillips;

Great-grandfather of nine;

Grandson of the late Wilhelmina Jordan;

Brother of Ingrid Joseph, Arthur Jordan, Cheryl Campbell, Corene and Muriel Lynch (all of the USA), Livingston Lynch (UK), Alva and Elsie Lynch;

Nephew of the late Oliver Jordan;

Uncle of Kevin Jordan (Trinidad), Grantley Belgrave (USA), Shelley Anne, Shawn and Lynette Lynch, Marva Sinckler and others;

Cousin of Judy Bovell and Leonard Thornhill;

Brother-in-law of Clyde Joseph (USA) and Angela Alleyne (Canada);

Relative of the Francis and Joseph families (St. Lucia), the Jordan, Lynch and Thornhill families;

Friend of Peter White, Cuthbert and Anthony Cornibert, Jojo, Margaret and many others.

The Thanksgiving Service for the late Stephen Alonzo Piggott takes place at St. Albans Anglican Church, St. James on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment. Mourning colours are optional.

The Organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 no later than noon.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
