THELMA DELCINE TOPPIN née PARRIS, aged 93, better known as “Mooney’ late of Retreat Terrace, Black Rock, St. Michael and formerly of Bennetts, St. Thomas; Member of the Black Rock Nazarene Church entered peacefully into eternal rest Tuesday, 15th February, 2022 at her residence.
Daughter of the late Miriam Parris and the late Benjamin ‘Doda’ Alleyne;
Widow of Frank A. Toppin;
Loving mother of Frank Toppin Jr. (Canada), Diana Toppin, Joanne Gibson (Mico) and Khani Toppin (England);
Grandmother of Tanya Osbourne, Kamaria Abbott, Kadia Phillips (Dubai), Derek and Kimberly Mc. Farland, Zonelle Clarke, Jamal Gibson, Amanda and Ashley Toppin (Canada) and Khaleb Toppin (England);
Great-grandmother of Zane, Tyler-Jordan, and Janiyah, Jahlia, Trevon, Kareem, N’mar, Ella and X’zavier (Canada);

The funeral of the late THELMA DELCINE TOPPIN née PARRIS leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, 05th March, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. for Bank Hall Church of the Nazarene, Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the Service. The funeral will then proceed to the St. Thomas Churchyard for the interment.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Black Rock Nazarene Church, Black Rock Main Road, St. Michael on Friday, 04th March, 2022 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

I was not fortunate enough to get to know my grandmother personally having only met her twice but I count myself blessed to learn so much about her today. As someone who works in healthcare, it is my hope I can continue her legacy in the care I provide to my clients now.
