Loving great-grandfather of Amellia Ambroise (USA);
Cherished brother of Henry, David and Alicent Yearwood, Mariel Mayers, Mary Skeete, Yvette Drayton, Peggy Harris, and the late Myron Yearwood;
Uncle of Richard Mayers, Yvette Jordan, Kester & Karen Drayton; Adriel Skeete, Kyle & Christopher Harris; Cheryl, Jodi & Cherise Yearwood;
Cousin of the Yearwood, Chaplin and Gibson families;

The funeral leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, June 27, 2025 St Thomas Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3 p.m. for the service; followed by the interment in the churchyard.
The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Condolences to All. Words cannot express the loss we feel at our beloved Walter’s passing. It’s unfortunate that I am out of the country and cannot attend the funeral, but I am thankful that my brother Eric was able to attend, and thanks to technology I was able to view the service and see the siblings and families and hear the words of praise. Life continues so we will get past this, and he will live in our memory, but we must remember to take care of, and love each other, as Walter would like us to do. Dear Walter, Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. May you Rest in Peace.
