Daughter of the late Gwendolyn Callender and Taylor St. Clair Batson;
Mother of Wilma, Samuel, Henry, and Henderson Callender;
Grandmother of Jaqueline Tonge, Rosanne Moon, Sheno Callender, Joel Noriega (Trinidad); Samantha, Robert and Serena Callender (all of the USA);
Sister to Phyllis Callender and Collin Sealy;
Mother-in-Law to Maria, Claudette, and the late Phyllis Callender;
Great-grandmother of the Claudelle Noreiga, Layla Noreiga, Samie Moon, and the Tonge family (all of the USA);
Aunt to several nieces and nephews;
Relative of the Callender, Batson, Sealy, Niles, and Dear families; Elma Grant & family, and Ricardo “Cracker” Goddard & family;
Friend of Ena Gittens, Rosie Russel, Samar Duke and Agreta Ifill.
The funeral for Yvonne Callender takes place at The St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 331 Hawthorne Street, Brooklyn New York 11225, USA on Friday, March 7th, 2025 at 5 pm followed by the interment on Monday, March 10th 2025 at Canarsie Cemetery at 10 a.m EST.
Wreaths may be sent to the Church on Friday, March 7th, 2025 after 10 a.m.
