Carston Lorde June 22, 2020

CARSTON DESMOND LORDE aged 72 of Castle Terrace, Long Bay, St. Philip entered peacefully into rest on Monday, June 22, 2020.

Son of the late Percival and Gwendolyn Lorde;

Father of Fiona Brown, Allison Thompson, Kelly Alleyne, Kevin Lorde and Kyle Lorde;

Grandfather of Suzan Vassell, Garret and Alanis Brown, Avery, Amani, Amor, Amari and Ajani Lorde, Aiden and Lillian Thompson;

Great grandfather of Marquis Johnson;

Brother of Trevor Maynard, Marva Martindale, Linda Pile, Ivis Griffith, Verne “Penny” Blades, Keitha Lorde, Goldene Lorde, and the late Henry Lorde, Osvaldo “Danny Boy” Lorde, Winston “Sam” Maynard and Merlene Linton;

Uncle of 29 nieces and nephews and 45 great nieces and nephews;

Brother-in-Law of Hilary, Jepter, Bentley and Geoffrey;

Relative of the Lorde, Maynard, Jones, Perryman and Edgehill families.

The funeral of the late Carston Desmond Lorde leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 12:45 p.m. for the Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2 p.m. for the service. Tributes will commence at 1:45 pm. A private cremation will be at a later date.

The Chapel Organist is kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pinelands Seventh-Day Adventist Church would be appreciated.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes & Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

      Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Carston.God took home a truly loving and caring man .He was always there for you,helping you in whatever way he could.We need more people in the world like carston.What a wonderful world it wouldbe.Rest in peace in until we meet again our friend.carston died one day after our mother.He would frequently ask about her.They are both free in God’s care.God bless
