I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Phil.

I worked with Phil for a time at Cambridge Assessment and immediately got on well with him as everyone who ever met him did.

He was such a wonderful larger-than-life character, full of fun and had an extremely generous nature. I was honoured to be a guest of Phil’s at a Wasps game along with a few others and members of his family. I’ll remember that day and many other times with great fondness.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and hope that they take some comfort in knowing that he will be greatly missed. He impacted so many lives in such a positive way.

    Rest in peace Phil.

I am so saddened to hear of the news that Phil is no longer with us. I had tried on many occasions to contact Phil over the last year or so but never got a reply back, now I know why. Phil was such a nice and fun person and I grew to enjoy his company and presence around us. He was such a good laugh and I’ll never forget him. I myself learned so much from Phil, both at a work level and as a person. I pass on my condolences to the family, our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Rest in peace Phil, we love you and always will.

Mandeep Virdi (past colleague/friend at Cambridge Assessment)
