Charles Christopher Lynch age 89 of 9th Avenue New Orleans and formerly of 4th Avenue Green Hill, St Michael; retired Driver of the Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) entered peacefully into rest on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Son of the late Alice Lynch;
Husband of Erna Lynch née Holder;
Father of Marcia, Angela and Owen Holder, Victor and Emmerson Lynch;
Grandfather of Katrina Holder Garnes, Tyrone, Kerry, Melissa and Kianna Holder, Lawanda Smith and Crystal Sealy;
Great grandfather of Ashley Clarke, Shaquan, Taro, Kahlia, Kahria and Latonya Holder, Quesara Neblett and Shaniqua Blackman
Brother of the late Fitzgerald, Cecile and Carmen Lynch;
Uncle of many;
Cousin of many;
Brother-in-law of Alvin, Cynthia, Muriel and Coreen Holder;
Friend of Michael Blackett, Karen Grazette and others.
The funeral of the late Charles Christopher Lynch leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. for the Chapel of Westbury Cemetery, St Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service. Interment at the Westbury cemetery will follow.
The Chapel Organist is kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2019 no later than 8 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from noon – 2 p.m.
