Delores Anita Green affectionately known as “Aunt Baby” and “Baby” of Fitts Village, St. James; faithful member of St. James Parish Church Mother’s Union and retired Cook of Colony Club Hotel, entered peacefully into rest at age 98 on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her residence.
Daughter of the late Edith Foster;
Beloved wife of the late Walter Clarence Green (retired Corporal 483, RBPF);
Adoptive mother of Wesley Elcock;
Sister of the late Lucille Foster;
Cousin of Noel, Winston, and Candy Foster, Cheryl Foster-Charles, Cecille Barnett, Carl Foster and Coral Odle (both of the USA), Marva Hill (UK), Jeffrey, Richard and Anderson Foster, Sheila Foster-Lane and Colleen Drayton (all of Canada), Al and Leandra Gilkes, the late Llewellyn Foster and the late Greta Young (UK);
Godmother of Nicholas Hinds;
Special friend of Janice Husbands and Sonia Gibson;
Friend of many.
The funeral of the late Delores “Aunt Baby” Anita Green leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday, November 11, 2019 at noon for St James Parish Church, Holetown, St James where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 p.m. for the service; followed by the interment at the St James cemetery.
The Organist, members of the Church Choir and Mother’s Union, are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, November 11, 2019 no later than noon.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
