Heather Rosita Lopey née Maxwell

Aged 69 of Storey’s Gap, Howells Cross Road, St. Michael; retired Tax Relief Investigator of the Land Tax Department; devout member of St. Barnabas Church Health Guild and Micah Fellowship, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

Predeceased by parents Randolph and Glendora Maxwell;

Widow of Neville Lopey;

Mother of Raul Lopey and Michelle Clauzel;

Grandmother of Fari, Israel and Raziel Lopey and Michaela Brathwaite;

Sister of Viola Clarke, Millicent Salmon (UK), Muriel Niles, and Randolph “Randy” Maxwell (USA);

Aunt of Charmaine Sealey, Randall Maxwell (USA), Alan, Jeffrey and Deborah Sawyerr, Steven Maxwell, Barbara and Paul Salmon (all of the UK), and the late Erwin Maxwell;

Cousin of Judy Bascom, Jennifer Alleyne, Dorian Whittington and the late Trevor Alleyne;

Mother-in-law of Dave Clauzel;

Sister-in-law of Victor Benn, Cheryl Maxwell and Quenin Niles;

Relative of the Maxwell, Connell, Stuart, Barrett, Phillips and Whittington families;

Friend of Margaret Yearwood, Pearlie Manning, Shernel Carter, Keren Beckles and many others.

The funeral for the late Heather Rosita Lopey née Maxwell leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 for St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Chapel Gap, St. Michael where invited relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the Service of Thanksgiving; followed by interment in the Churchyard.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the St. Barnabas Senior Citizens Day Care Centre.

 Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at St. Barnabas Anglican Church on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. All Covid-19 protocols must be acknowledged.
