My dearest Auntie Hilda, we are not blood related, but because of your close friendship with my mother Kathleen, I love you like an auntie. You showed me much love, and was always ready to give such good advice in such a tender manner, as you would give to your own daughters. To Meg, my friend and all the family, accept my heartfelt condolences. Mama Hilda lived an exemplary life, and will therefore be rewarded by our Lord Jesus. May she rest in eternal Peace.

    Poem: THE JOY OF LIFE

Auntie Hilda lived a full life.

She was surrounded by a loving and caring family.

She gave her best and earned her keep.

She never tried to be great or grand but offered a helping hand.

Auntie Hilda your beautiful Island awaits you.

I will remember you in my heart.
