Junior Anderson Lovell

Aged 68, of Tino Terrace, Christ Church, was born to the late Clarine and Julian Lovell. Junior was an enthusiastic and dedicated servant of the Lord. “Junie” as he was affectionately known was married to Evena, and is survived by their three loving children Bradley, Victoria and Beatrice.

Junior was a strong leader, family man, teacher, preacher, advisor, friend, father and husband.

Left to treasure his indelible memory are his siblings Walter Lovell and wife Audine; Tony Lovell and wife Marjorie; Erma Taitt; Glendine Lee and husband Randolph, Alwin Lovell and wife Eval; Myrlene Lovell; Monica Benskin and husband Charles and Ivor Lovell and wife Valerie.

He was pre-deceased by his sister Lauren Oliver and brothers-in-law Sydney Oliver and Neville “Bop” Taitt.

Uncle Junior will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Cheryl, Vincent; David, Mark, Roxanne; Maureen, Allison; Asonia, Sandra, Peter; Rodney, Susan; Devere, Sharon, Shawn, Shanelle; Kevin, Kerry-Ann, Kristy-Ann and Alexia, pre-deceased by Roger, Haldane and Glenmar.

Vincent, a special cousin, among others, share many fond memories.

Brother-in-Law of Cicely and six others.

Junior was a relative of the Olton, Brooks, Yearwood, Small, and Holder families.

He was a dear friend of Trevor & Marquita Simmons, Pat Bretney, Louis & Rosemary Herbert, Claudius & Sanquetta Holder, Trevor & Eslyn Daniel, Joseph & Barbara Evelyn, Larrier & Thora Freeman, Betty Proute and Mr. Trevor Shepherd.

Throughout his years, Junior formed many friendships and associations through his work at Barclays and First Caribbean International Bank. Formidable bonds were forged through his extensive church life. His athletic pursuits yielded many friendships with the Harrison College Alumni and more recently, BAMSAC.

The funeral of the late Junior Anderson Lovell leaves the Downes & Wilson Funeral Home Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 for Abundant Life Assembly, Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:30 p.m. for a Service of Thanksgiving. A private interment will follow.

Flowers may be sent to the Downes & Wilson Funeral Home, no later than 10 a.m. The keyboardist and members of the church’s worship team are kindly asked to attend. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects before the service commences.
