Great-grandfather of Aahron Corbin, Hassan Ellis, Noah, Kahlil, Shiloh and Zuri Armstrong and Thierry Perch;
Cousin of the Most Honourable Justice Leslie Haynes, FB, Chief Justice of Barbados;
Father-in-Law of David Murray and the late Michael Redman;
Friend of Andrew Davis, David Stuart and many others.
The funeral leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 for the Church of Christ the King, Rock Dundo, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service.
The funeral will then proceed to the Westbury cemetery for the interment.
The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes & Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 no later than 8 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

I remember his quiet countenance, his caring heart. his jovial spirit and oue conversation when he arrived early arrival to secure his favorite spot on our veranda, as he joined the gathering of ‘old’ friends who watched the costumed bands on Kadooment Day.
Extending condolences to his family and loved ones – especially Linnett, Miranda and Jacqui and all the grandchildren. Forever in our hearts – Rest in Peace Uncle Lionel.
