May 18, 2020 at 7:39 pmMy sincere condolences to Kevin and to Malissa’s mum on your loss. I was so saddened to hear of Malissa’s passing. Living in the UK I did not see Malissa often esp. over the past few years but on the occasions when we met I found her a beautiful and friendly person. I particularly remember her lovely smile. It’s hard to know the right words at a time like this except to offer deepest sympathies.

May 15, 2020 at 3:09 pmWhen I reflect on the life of Malissa I am reminded of the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “it is not the length of life, but depth of life.”. I believe that she has fulfilled her purpose and has moved on.
To her mum Pat, husband Kevin, aunt Rhonda, cousin Aleah and all other family members, I offer sincere condolences. May the love and comfort of God strengthen you during this difficult time.

May 13, 2020 at 1:40 amI was shocked and grieved to hear of Malissa’s death. She was a very meticulous, articulate and stylish individual.
Soft spoken, but loved to laugh,
Iron coated in velvet.
A stylish trendsetter;
Articulate, cultured, not haughty,
Her wee bit of mischief, sparks the memory…
Of snarky humor in class inciting you to laugh
But a straight face and a twinkle in the eye;
The only sign she was the instigator not I.
My schoolmate though we were not in
contact, with each other just
chance meetings over the years, your
engaging smile shall be missed. Deepest and
sincerest condolences to Malissa’s mum,
her husband Kevin and her close family and
friends.

May 11, 2020 at 9:41 pmDear Sir
I do not recall having ever met Mrs Melissa Porter Farmer nor her husband Kevin Farmer. I feel compelled however, as a former teacher and a resident of St. Philip to humbly ask you to pass on my heartfelt sympathy to all of her family and friends, but in particular to her husband Mr Kevin Farmer who is doing a great job at the BMHS.She appeared to have been a gem of a lady and the teaching profession is definitely the poorer for her loss.
Thanks very much and stay safe yourself as well as your family, friends and staff.
