Nelly Oneta Appia age 83 of Riverview, Florida, formerly of St. Philip; faithful member of Grace Episcopal Church, Tampa Palms, Florida entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
Daughter of the late George and Clara (Adams) Brathwaite;
Wife of the late Archibald Cleveland Appia;
Loving mother of Bernard, Steve, Anthony, Trevor, Michael, Ken, Ruth and the late Peter Appia;
Grandmother of eight;
Sister of Jeffrey Brathwaite, Bentley George Brathwaite, Mary Harper and Jean Alleyne;
Mother-in-law of Ramon Tavarez, Donna, Sonji and Pam Appia.
The funeral of the late Nelly Oneta Appia leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 1:45 p.m. for The Church of Holy Trinity, St. Philip where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service; followed by interment in the Churchyard.
The Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 17, 2019 no later than 1 p.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
