Husband of Phyllis Yvonne Samuel;
Father of the late Winston Lewis; Step-Father of Kamal Whittington Vaughan;
Grandfather of Brandon Lewis and Sage Whittington Vaughan; Great-Grandfather of Si’anna, Nathaniel and Alayna Lewis;
Brother of Gloria Henry, Grace McIntosh, Grace Smith, George Gittens and Ursula ‘Francis’ Norville (all of the USA);
Uncle of Sekou and Jamal Henry;
Nephew of Yvonne Lovell;
Brother-in-law of Victor, Tony and Patricia Vaughan, DaCosta Whittington, Patricia Jemmott, Margaret-Anne Phillips and Hector Henry;
Godfather of Jaden and Joshua Grant, Elizabeth Quintyne, Kaylona Bourne;

The funeral of the late Owen Leroy Samuel leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Friday, November 18, 2022 for Abundant Life Assembly, Haynes Hill, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service followed by interment at the Westbury Cemetery.
Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, November 18, 2022 no later than 8 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

May all be well with you, be blessed, be comforted at this time of your grief. As his younger brother, I adopted one of his many examples- ” No one owes you anything. Get up and make a way for yourself.” Owen has entered the great beyond. Hopefully there will be a joyous reunion with his Genesis. May he eternally R.I.P…..
