Former employee of the Barbados Customs and Excise Department, Esso Standard Oil, and Wisco.
Devoted member and Distinguished President of Kiwanis Club of Barbados North; District Administrator of the Caribbean-Atlantic District, Key Club International, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
Father of David Gill (USA);
Stepfather of Tessa Daniel;
Father-in-law of Megan Gill (USA);
Brother of Joan Crawford (USA) and Marva Browne;
Brother-in-Law of Aubrey Crawford (USA) and the late Carl Browne;
Uncle of Dwight Crawford (USA), Duane (Canada), and Leah Browne (UK);
Great uncle of Veronica and Davis Crawford (USA), Darren and Amber Browne (Canada);
Relative of the Gill, Beckles and Codrington families.
The funeral for Rudolph Athelstan Gill leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael for the Church of Christ the King, Rock Dundo, St. Michael on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. for the service; followed by interment at the Westbury Cemetery. Tributes will commence at 9:40 a.m.
No flowers by special request. Donations may be made to: Caribbean-Atlantic Children’s Fund Scotiabank Warrens 463389. An offering will be taken for the Children’s Breakfast Program.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
